Clear Details Before You Book

WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW

BX1 runs camps on selected days rather than every weekday of the school holidays. Each camp is a separately announced program with its own age range, session length, activities, price and capacity.

Members, non-members and beginners are welcome. Use the school holiday enquiry form to receive the next dates and find out whether the program suits your child.

WE CONFIRM BEFORE BOOKING

  • The exact camp date, arrival and collection times
  • The suitable ages, price, inclusions and available places
  • The planned martial arts, games and physical activities
  • What your child should wear, bring and any food requirements

An enquiry is not a confirmed booking. BX1 will explain the next step once the camp details are available.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY ENQUIRY

Tell us your child’s age and preferred holiday period and we’ll explain the next suitable camp, class or training option.

Camps run on selected days, are open to members and non-members, and have limited places. The dates below follow the official NSW public-school holiday calendar. An enquiry does not reserve a place; BX1 will confirm program details and availability with you.

Dates are NSW public-school dates. Individual independent and Catholic school calendars may vary.
Choose a holiday period first to limit the calendar to its official dates.

By submitting this form, you are asking BX1 to contact you about this enquiry. This is not a confirmed booking. See our Privacy Policy.

Two Simple Ways to Start

For a dedicated camp: complete the school holiday enquiry form. We’ll confirm the next available dates, ages, hours, price, activities and what your child should bring.

For regular holiday classes: current members can check the live timetable and reserve every session in the BX1 Gym app. New families can use the enquiry form and we’ll recommend the most suitable starting option.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY MARTIAL ARTS FAQ

Clear answers for planning the school holidays.

Do BX1 Kids classes run during school holidays?

Yes. BX1 Kids classes continue throughout the NSW school holidays according to the current timetable, except on public holidays.

Are school holiday classes unlimited for members?

Ongoing Kids and Junior membership plans include unlimited age-appropriate classes during NSW school holidays. Bookings are required, and every place remains subject to class suitability and availability.

Can my child attend several classes on the same day?

Possibly. Where suitable age-appropriate classes run consecutively, use the school holiday enquiry form before booking a longer training block. BX1 must confirm places, eligibility, supervision between sessions and collection arrangements. Consecutive classes are not a drop-in holiday-care service.

Does BX1 run school holiday martial arts camps?

Yes. BX1 runs dedicated camps on selected days during each NSW school holiday period. Dates, ages, hours and activities vary, and places are limited, so use the school holiday enquiry form to ask about the next camp.

Can non-members join a holiday camp?

Yes. BX1 school holiday camps are open to members and non-members, including complete beginners. Each camp announcement confirms the applicable ages and any activity-specific requirements.

Does my child need martial arts experience?

No. Beginners are welcome at BX1 school holiday camps. Coaches explain and adapt activities for the announced age group and experience level. If you are unsure which option suits your child, include that in the enquiry form.

What should my child wear and bring?

Requirements are confirmed for each camp. Children will generally need comfortable clothes suitable for movement and a water bottle. Any food, equipment or uniform requirements will be explained before booking.

What ages and martial arts are available?

Camp ages are confirmed with each holiday announcement. Across BX1’s regular timetable, Kids Karate starts from age 3, Junior Boxing, Muay Thai and MMA from age 9, and supervised Strength and Weights training from age 11. The BX1 Kids Classes page explains each age group and program.

What happens on public holidays?

BX1 does not conduct group classes on public holidays. If a regular lesson falls on a public holiday, a make-up lesson can be booked in accordance with the current BX1 membership terms.

Can I freeze my child’s membership during school holidays?

Yes, subject to the current Kids membership freeze terms. At present, a freeze can be requested during NSW school holidays for up to five fortnights in each 365-day period, with at least seven days’ written notice and a $10 fee per fortnight. Please review the current terms and conditions before requesting a freeze.

How do I ask about the next holiday program?

Complete the school holiday enquiry form and select the option that best matches what you need. Include your child’s age and preferred holiday period; BX1 will confirm suitable classes, any longer training options or a dedicated camp currently available.
